Welcome on my genealogical website!

I'm focused on families from Central Bohemia and from the Czech-Moravian Highlands. Main branches in which I'm interested are families of Vetrovec's and Bartl's (Central Bohemia) and Musil's, Trojan's, Janousek's and many others families from the Highlands. I'm also interested in families of Prochazka's, owners of few mills in surroungings of town Telc which is located in the Moravian part of Highlands.

Currently I'm focused mainly on the Moravian part of my family tree, because I'm living in Brno and and I'm at least once a week in the Moravian Land Archive, which is located here. According to this fact I'm able to gather the Moravian information much more easier than the Czech part.

What you can find here? Currently the translated part of website is not yet finished, so there is quite a little of information but I'm trying to store here information usefull not only for me, but also for others - list of marriages from different parishes, my own family trees, some information about Czech and Moravian Archives, information about writing which was used in Czech lands in the past and how to read it, descriptions of the villages from the area in which I'm interested and some other things.
